The ESA has long been affiliated with the CEMS network, and for the last ten years has worked with RSM – and more recently the Norwegian School of Economics – to run week-long seminars which challenge CEMS students to find practical business uses for space technologies. In November 2014, the ESA officially joined the CEMS Global Alliance and has taken the collaboration to new heights in 2015. This July, CEMSies from 8 different countries partnered up with the EAC for an extensive one-week workshop, focusing on business related questions at the EAC.
