Alexander represents the CEMS Schools’ voice in the CAA Board. He ensures the CAA Board takes into account the CEMS Academic Member Schools interests and needs. Vice versa, he builds understanding in his peer CEMS Academic Member community to better understand the interests and needs of the CEMS Alumni and in defining ways in which to create mutual value.

In his role as CEMS Executive Director, Roland is also member of the CAA Board.
His participation in the CAA Board supports to build understanding on the interests and needs of CEMS Alumni and how CEMS can support the CEMS Alumni Association to deliver this. Viceversa, it enables him to better understand how to engage CEMS Alumni to contribute to CEMS in strategic and operational decision-making and projects, initiatives and events that support the CEMS vision and mission.
Olivia Franziska Luz

CEMS Student Board VP and Treasurer
Olivia represents the CEMS Students voice in the CAA Board. She ensures the CAA Board takes into account student interests and needs. Vice versa, she ensures that the CEMS Student Board and CAA Board convene on important matters concerning both the Student and Alumni body, in order to initiate common projects and initiatives. In addition, she supports the Alumni Relations Team in the CEMS Student Board, a team that aims to strengthen the CEMS student-alumni relationship and understanding of CEMS students about the CEMS Alumni Association and their opportunity for a lifelong CEMS experience.
Elected on a three-year mandate the Global CAA Board comprises of:
- 9 Alumni Members
- 1 CEMS Executive Director
- 1 CEMS Academic Member representative
- 1 CEMS Student Board representative
- 1 CAA Executive Director (advise role; no vote)
- 1 independent Alumni Auditor (advise role; no vote)
The Global CAA Board aims at representing the interests of CEMS Alumni, Local Committees (LCs) and Global Groups (GGs) around the world and creating mutual value between CEMS Alumni and the four other main stakeholder groups within the CEMS Global Alliance: 30 CEMS Schools, 70+ CEMS Corporate and Social Partners and 1,200+ CEMS Students.

In June 2013 Wieteke was appointed as first full-time CAA staff: in the position of CAA Executive Director. She is also CEO of the global educational non-profit, the Graduate Business Forum.
Previously she worked a.o. for the United Nations in Bolivia and New York and at Microsoft and Thomson Reuters in Amsterdam and London.
Before joining CEMS full-time, she was a volunteer for 10+ years a.o. as CAA Global Board Vice-President, CEMS Executive Board Task Force Member, Board Member for Alumni Local Committees in London and New York and CEMS Student Board President.
Ning Hsuan Yen
Coming from Taiwan, Ning started as an intern for the CAA in the summer of 2014 when she just graduated from Rotterdam of Management Erasmus University (RSM) and later became the second full-time staff of the CAA global office.
Working in a small, fast-growing team, her responsibilities expanded from being the "CAA Finance and Executive Assistant" to global "CEMS Alumni Relations Manager". Her activities cover all aspects of the organisation from marketing communication, database management, to event management, finance and audit. CEMS Alumni Association General Assembly
The CAA General Assembly is composed of representatives from the CEMS Alumni Association Local Committees (LC) and Global Groups (GGs) around the world and takes place at least once a year during the CEMS Annual Events.
Elected on a two-year mandate, currently there are:
- 34 Local Committees;
- 6 Global Groups;
- run by 200+ volunteer Board Members;
